With this tour we offer some of the Valley's tasty treats paired with some of its most beautiful vistas. Graciously sponsored by many local businesses with products that are sure to please the pallet.
This tour begins with a coffee sampling, to get the senses going, followed by a stroll through our local farmers market. Explore the stalls of the locally produced products, and delectables, the valley has to offer. Tasty treats are abundant so bring some extra cash for some bites.
After the market you will be taken on a 1.5-2 Hour nature walk in Beautiful Seal Bay Regional Park. This guided walk through the forest and along Seal Bay beach gives you an opportunity to get up close and personal with the local flora and fauna. Seals and Sea Lions are often spotted resting on the rocks off shore. This forest is also the home and feeding grounds to Bald Eagles, Heron, Kingfisher, Deer and a variety of other species of animal.
By then you will surely be hungry, so we provide a picnic lunch at one of Comox's nicest beaches. Kin Beach offers a grassy picnic area next to a sandy beach overlooking the Straight of Georgia with great views of the Coast Mountain Range. A barbequed picnic lunch will be provided with vegeterian options available and a variety of locally produced samples.
Our final stop of the tour is at the Surgenor Brewing Company. Where you will experience a glimpse into the world of beer making. Tickle your tastebuds while learning how this age old beverage is made. After enjoying a few frothy ones your journey will come to an end, we will deliver you back to wherever your day began for some well deserved rest.
